Crochet Flowers

My sister in law found an amazing flower book for me and I can't get enough of making these, they are sooooo cute and quick to make. Then Hilary (Isabella's nursery teacher and fellow crochet fan) and I got asked along to Furzedown knitters group to make some for the Festival and they were strung up from trees in Moyser Road and at the Fun day stall. Hoorah! They looked amazing. Learning to make flowers means I can put them on everything!

Custom Cushions

A good friend had a lovely new house extension built and mentioned that she needed some cushions to go with her fabulous new curtains...so I took photos of the curtains and made some lovely leaves and flower embellishments to adorn cushions in the right colour. She was delighted and I was quite pleased with how they turned out.
My oldest daughter asked me to make her a cardigan and this is my first attempt which she loves and even helped me pick out the buttons from my grandmothers button jar-a treasure my mum gave to me. The cardigan is actually quite simple as the pieces are all straight rectangles made in cotton. The worst bit was sewing in all the ends from changing colours so often!
